Description:
It is time to part with my 2002 Mini Cooper S.
The car has been a great runner during my ownership. I have owned the car just shy of a year and I really don't want to sell it, but I am heading off travelling and can't face it just being parked up and left. Plus I could do with the funds to help support my trip.
The vehicle has been very well cared for, polished, waxed and detailed whenever I have spare time! It usually gets washed once a week as well as it's used as my daily driver. The paintwork is very clean with no major marks or damage! The only things are a few stone chips on the front end (but what car doesn't have these) and a couple of very slight carpark dings which are barely noticeable.
Specs are as follows, how the car currently stands:
-11 Months MOT
-3 Months Tax
-Service (I've done the oil, but service readout is due in 4000 miles)
-17" Mini Cooper wheels with 7mm Pirelli Run Flats and 4/5mm Dunlop Run Flats
-FK coil over suspension which are about 6 months old (Cost £200 new)
-Alpine Bluetooth/USB/AUX headunit
-Half leather seats (no rips or tears)
-Leather perforated steering wheel
-Trip computer
-Handsfree kit already installed, via Bluetooth on the stereo
-Digital Climate control
-Everything works on the car
-Rear wiper has been removed as the motor packed up, but all removed and blanked off (passed MOT like this)
-New style flat blade aero wipers
-No warning lights, but all flash up on ignition check
-LED number plate bulbs
-Only 1 remote key fob with the car
-FSH with book and manuals
-V5 present with a few receipts of previous work
Bought from a car dealer in Worcester last year, which I test drove and he serviced and checked prior to collection.
I'm sure there are things I've missed, but any questions, fire away!
I will fully valet the car for the new owner.
Like I said, I really do not want to get rid of this car, but needs must.
A little extra info... I drove this with a passenger like it is now all the way from Exeter to Wetherby and back on £80 of fuel. That was about 650/700 mile round trip. So if you're worried about fuel economy, if you drive it well, you do get very good mpg, probably around 40/45 mpg. Considering this car is supercharged, I thought that was very respectable especially with it's 6 speed box.
Oh also, insurance is not actually too bad! I'm 21 and it's not too expensive for me, well below £1k for the year with no ncb.
Any questions, just ask.
Serious buyers only! I DO NOT have time to deal with time wasters!
You can test drive the car if you have valid insurance or alternatively I can drive you.
NO SWAPS! I have no use for your Fiesta or Clio when I'm on the other side of the world!
Cash on collection preferred.
Thanks For Looking!
