The Commuter statue sculpture

Came across Swapz and trying this interesting site out here. What I have for sale/swap is a GRP fibreglass sculpture, the Commuter, a lifesize artwork. As a professional public artist, I made this public artwork approx 20 years ago, and this work for sale or swap is the original prototype sculpture from which a copy of was cast in Aluminium and stands in the Snowhill train station in the business district of Birmingham. The public statue copy was commissioned by CENTRO and unveiled for me by Neil Kinnock at that time Euro minister for Transport. So only x2 versions of this artwork in are in existence, one in my studio garden for last 20+ years and the CENTRO one on the train station in Birmingham. This artwork will come from my studio with provenance paperwork should you wish to invest in this and perhaps sell at a later date. The GRP fibreglass it is made from is a robust material and can live outside, maybe several hundred years, it can be repainted and repaired easily if ever damaged. It would be available for collection from my studio, cleaned and exhibition ready.

This is a collectable item, with history, created by a professional, contemporary British Sculptor and I would sell this at £2500 but would be interested to see what folk might swap for it. Only genuine and serious collectors need reply.
