Dawes Galaxy Touring Bike 58cm

Dawes Galaxy Reynolds 531st frame/forks 58cm

This bike is from the 1980's but is in a great condition.

Done 400 miles in my ownership and has had little in its last.

Over the year i have upgraded/changed parts these are:
The crank and chain set-now shimano ones these are 2 chain rings
Pedals these are now shimano ones that can be used with kleets
Cables/casing_now new for gears and breaks
bar tape: black soft under and tape top
back wheel: 1 year old 27x1 1/4 rim
new tires: back = schwalbe marathon same as rim front is same make but 700x35c
the break pads are good and have life left in them

The bike has had a service 1 year ago and is still going smooth

The wheels are straight and have little to no wobble..
Breaks work well and the gear shifters are down-tube(see pics)
The bike has a 6 ring freewheel and 2 chain rings

There is also a strong pannier rack on the back the bike suits 5 foot 8 and over the frame is 58cm but someone 5 foot 7 may fit it

One problem is the seat is slightly missing a piece but this does not get in the way/ effect use

as you would expect there is a few light scratches and rust marks but these are small and in places they wont be seen. The pictures show it all.
