MG ZR Turbo.

2001 Y reg
Originally a 1.8 160 comes with full electrics, half leather, bigger brakes all round with ABS,passenger airbag, 17"s and Side skirts.

I bought this car with the intention of doing RWYB trackdays but my situation has changed now and i need something more sensible for the other half to drive to work ( fabia vrs etc)

Anyway the car :

Converted to a 2.0 ltr turbo ( engine out of a 620ti )
fully rebuilt.

Gearbox rebuilt with steel caged bearings and longer 5th gear. ( photos to prove )
New clutch kit fitted and new MTF 94 gear oil
Uprated gear selector universal joint ( no sloppy gearchanges )
New oil + filter, plugs, coolant, Rotor arm and cap
New water pump and thermostat
New inner and outer CV joints and boots
New bottom arms (powerflex bushes) and Tracking redone
All exhaust studs and gearbox nuts helicoiled
Manual boost controller set at 11psi ( turbo holds boost fine no knocks or smoke )
Large Gen 2 K and N filter
Motobuild front strut brace
Fully straight through stainless exhaust with downpipe flexi removed 4" jap style Backbox
Front mount intercooler with 2.5" staineless steel pipework.
New Slimline Fans wired to a switch
Original 160 brake set up (front and back) with new disks and pads
Lowered on Apex Springs
17" MG Straights painted gunmetal grey
Rear Interior has been stripped but is included with car and is in excellent condition.
New Boost gauge in center air vent
new heater matrix and resistor pack
ABC rear lights

Car starts 1st time every time, it sits on my drive most of the time as I only use it on sundays as a weekend toy.
Shell has covered a 100k I have no proof of mileage on engine but it runs fine, idles smooth and revs strong throughout the rev range. Turbo holds boost fine with no smoke or noise. no water or oil leaks on engine.

Bodywork has the usual car park dings which is to be expected with a shell thats covered 100k but the engine, gearbox and clutch are all very good.
